And once again Anushka Sharma proves that she says what she means and she means what she says. She is one of those few industrialists who stand by what they say and feel correct. Then be it being a true Indian working in the interest of nation building or being a compassionate animal lover like the one she is. Anushka is a true believer that change begins at home and her move of converting into a pure VEGETARIAN is in consensus with her beliefs. Read here to know how.

Anushka Sharma is a true animal lover. She is a passionate woman who puts her money where her heart is. Remember she announced to open a shelter for animals right outside Mumbai on her birthday. And now she has proclaimed herself as a pure vegetarian. She is proud of her decision of going vegetarian and happy that no animal gets hurt in providing for her meal. Anushka Sharma who works for PETA India tries every bit from her end to make the world sans animal-cruelty. She even posted on Twitter today in support of PETA that she is vegetarian and captioned the photo saying that she wants to move forward in a manner that she can co-exist with her environment and take care of the world around her and added that going vegetarian was one of the best decisions of her life.

Anushka Sharma is the latest addition in the list of Bollywood celebrities who have chosen to be vegetarian as their support of PETA. She is now officially the part of the bandwagon of Bollywood veggies which include Shahid Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Lara Dutta. They have teamed up to promote healthy, meat-free meals in their support to PETA India. Anushka Sharma has also been awarded as the Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity in 2015 and also as the Person of the Year award in 2017 by PETA. She also launched a campaign known as PAWSITIVE to create an awareness amongst the people of India regarding the harm that is caused to the animals by the firecrackers they burn during Diwali and also demanded a ban on the carriages that run in Mumbai calling it to be cruelty on animals.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in Pari which was also her home production. She was also seen for a small role in Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster release Sanju. She will now be seen against Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film Zero.
