The award season is in full swing with stars spreading their magic with sensuous looks walking the red carpet like never before. The recently held 23rd Critics’ Choice Awards was also one such event on the list. Unlike Golden Globes wave of black dresses for the #TimesUp movement; this one was more of color, shimmer and some experiments with fashion. Held in Santa Monica, California the event saw a confluence of vogue, style and glamour. It also gave us some major fashion goals which one wouldn’t want to miss. So without any delay, let’s quickly get started:
Angelina Jolie looked heavenly in a white feathered dress from Ralph and Russo. The 42-year-old actress turned plenty of heads when she showed her multiple tattoos on her back. Her movie ‘First they killed my father’ was nominated in the category of Best Foreign Language Film. The asymmetrically draped skirt is paired with those pointed heels which anybody could easily fall for! A slick of red lip color is perfectly completing her classic look. It’s surely a perfect ten for the dazzling white beauty!
Embracing some springtime hue, Nicole Kidman picked a pop pinkcolored outfit from Valentino and matched it with Rene Caovilla sandals. She was the epitome of girlish glamour and bagged the Best Actress trophy for her role in Big Little Lies.
Olivia Munn was seen in an all red high neck gown by Prada. With those opulent crystal beads around her neck, she looked radiant and stunning.
Sarah Hyland was having a princess moment with some mandatory twirls in Naeem Khan Resort 2018 dress. She opted for a sleek bun and red lip color which made her look flawless. Isn’t it?
Greta Gerwig was a little disappointing in that Fendi Pre-Fall 2018 gown which framed an embellished heart detail on her chest. We do appreciate the craftsmanship of the design but it was something lower than the expectations.
Next one in the list is Allison Janney who made a striking appearance in bold blue. God! The Michael Cinco Resort 2018 gown was an enthralling one and a delight to watch. She had color coordinated a clutch with that gorgeous dress and finished the look with Dena Kemp jewelry.
With a floor length Prada shimmering silver gown, Gal Gadot made a long and lasting impression. Be it the waist belt with details or her flawless makeup, Gadot was shining every bit. A big thumbs up from us! Check out yourself.
Kate Bosworth undoubtedly looked stylish, sophisticated and regal in that long-sleeved laced Brock Collection custom gown. The layers of fabric were manipulated to create that lace flower. With that sleek ballerina bun and drop earrings, she was effortlessly looking chic.
Jessica Chastain attended the awards in an emerald green halter gown from Vionnet Spring 2018 collection. GuiseppeZanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals and Piaget jewels completed her look but we are not really impressed with this red carpet look of hers.
Yara Shahidi was looking fresh in a silk-Georgette GiambattistaVali Spring 2017 Couture gown. With those bronze stones on her dress, she made the right choice of going with minimal jewelry.
Margot Robbie took a risk wearing that Chanel Resort 2018 black and beige striped silk-pleated gown with an embellished belt. And we are happy with that choice!Depicting a carefree attitude, Robbie looked bold with this quirky dress.
Emma Roberts wore a stunning Giorgio Armani silk white dress paired with Norman Silverman jewels and made it to the category of standout styles at the awards.
Diane Krugerwas wearing a Vera Wang dress, Christian Louboutin heels, Tyler Ellis clutch and Messika jewels. With that, she looked elegant and graceful.
