Today we have many great actress who look stunning as well as act beautifully. One such actress is Sridevi. She is the real diva & worked with almost all the great actors,from Amitabh Bachchan to Jeetendra to Vinod Khanna to Shahrukh Khan. Even after so many years, she still looks the same ageless beauty. She has worked in Tamil,Telugu,Hindi,Malayalam & Kannada films.
Sridevi played her first role as a child actor in 1975 hit movie “Julie”.She has a huge fan following because of her unique style. In 1990’s she was the top actress with a limited competition to her looks & deadly acting skills. She has worked in many hit films. My favourite is her performance in “Sadma”.Her role was awesome in that movie opposite Kamal Hassan.
She has given some hilarious performances also in movies like Chaalbaaz & Mr. India. Her performance in Chaalbaaz was super hilarious. Some scenes and old dialogues of the movie are famous even today, like “Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu”. She proved that she can pull off any role with equal ease,making her all the more favorite.
Sridevi won various awards for her roles.She has won 05 filmfare awards in her career.Because of her contribution, She is” Ïndia’s greatest actress in 100 years”. She got married to Boney Kapoor in 1996. She bid goodbye to movies in 1997.Her last movie was Judaai, which was a superhit. No doubt she is “First Female Superstar of Hindi Cinema”
After a long break of 15 years, Sridevi made a comeback with movie “English Vinglish”. The performance in film got positive response.It was one of the best films of that year.
For her contribution to Indian Cinema,she got“Padma Shri” in 2013.
After five years of giving a wonderful performance in English Vinglish, Sridevi is ready with her latest movie “MOM”.
