A Gentleman | Siddharth Malhotra | Jacqueline Fernandes

A gentleman

“Jacqueline is a refined version of Katrina Kaif”

A Gentleman – Siddharth Malhotra is our hero who can kill villain with his deadly moves & can easily charm a girl with his innocence.

With his previous performances in movies like Ek Villain & Brothers, he has proved that he is the new age action hero.

In this film, he is playing role of a simple & extra safe boy named Gaurav who has a dream of living a normal life. He dreams of marrying a girl named Kavya(Jacqueline),who has different expectation from life and wants adventure in life. Gaurav who has planned everything in life and has achieved everything in life except his dream. But his story has a twisted turn, it is not what it looks.

The first half of the movie successfully creates a mystery in minds of audience about the true  identity of Gaurav. On the other hand, the second half solves all the mysteries. Siddharth has done a good job in his part, he has played his role well. He is looking cool in action avtar as well as decent avtar. Jacqueline on other hand is looking hot as hell. She is improving constantly in terms of acting & expressions. The film is set up on the back drop of Miami with two super hot actors. It offers two much hotness served in a platter.

A gentleman

Film also features Suniel Shetty & Darshan Kumar in negative shades. Role of Suniel Shetty in very limited, but he is looking dapper in his bearded look. Darshan Kumar is looking different from his earlier looks. I Must say, the villains of Hindi film industry are growing cooler by leaps & bounds. They are not like old time oldies, they are young & good looking giving tough competition to our heroes.

Director Raj/D.K. is successful in getting the desired performances from the actors. The merger of two stories in first half of the movie is done wonderfully. Film has got good peppy numbers like “Chandralekha” & “Baat Ban Jaye”.

A Gentleman is a nice blend of romance & action with a tinch of comedy in it. Although it is not a breakthrough movie, but it still entertains.

I am giving it 3 stars out of 5.
