Yes, the popular actor Kit Harington, who plays the role of Jon Snow in the Game Of Thrones series married his lady love and Game Of Thrones actress, Rose Leslie at a Church in Aberdeenshire in Scotland today. Interestingly the couple met on the sets of Game Of Thrones back in 2012 while shooting in Iceland, where Rose actually played the role of Ygritte, Jon Snow’s first love in the series as well. Rose Leslie whose full name is Rose Eleanor Arbuthnot Leslie looked beautiful and charming in her full-length white wedding gown as she got ready to get hooked with Kit Harington. For those who do not know, Rose is a descendant of Charles II and the 12th-century Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, where the wedding ceremony took place is owned by her family. The whole team of Game Of Thrones including Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner remained present at the wedding nuptials.
The Game Of Thrones final season shooting delayed to accommodate Kit’s wedding.
It was revealed earlier that the Game Of Thrones final series shooting has been delayed to accommodate Kit Harington and Ross Leslie wedding. Normally a production is delayed or takes more time than normal so that there can be correct weather as required for the shooting or special effects arrangements. However, in this case, it is Kit Harington’s wedding that delays the production. Obviously, when the lead actor is getting married and almost the whole crew is attending it, both the production and wedding cannot take place simultaneously. Kit revealed on The Jonathon Ross Show that HBO will stop the shooting of Game Of Thrones final series so that he can marry his lady love Rose Leslie. He said that the production has to remain shut down as the whole cast and crew needs to be a part of this beautiful day of his life.
