Superstar Rajnikanth’s latest gangster thriller Kaala hit the box office today. As per the reports today this is the first film by Rajnikanth with such a low occupancy. All thanks to Rajnikanth’s controversial comment on Cauvery issue. However this doesn’t mean that the film will not attract audiences in the coming days. And don’t be surprised if you get to see Aamir Khan sitting next to you watching Kaala.
Aamir Khan’s self admission of being a huge fan of Rajnikanth.
Aamir Khan in his tweet earlier today mentioned that he has been a huge fan of Rajnikanth and that he can’t wait to watch Kaala. The film has already been liked by more than 20k people and retweeted by 4.8k people.

About the gangster thriller Kaala.
Kaala is the second venture of superstar Rajnikanth and Pa Ranjith. They both worked together previously in Kabali which happened to be a blockbuster film. Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Kaala also starres Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Easwari Rao. Leaving out a few exceptions, the movie is receiving positive reviews from the critics. And this time a rare thing has happened for the Indian Cinema where the critics have praised Director more than the actor.
Kaala needs to earn 280 crores to become a hit.
The Dhanush produced high budget film should earn 280 crore to be called as a hit. Out of the 280 crores the film already collected 230 crore even before the release of the movie by way to sale of satellite and music rights. Now the gangster thriller should earn only 50 more crores to become a hit. The positive word of mouth will help the Rajnikanth starrer gain momentum in the coming days.
Storyline of Kaala.
Kaala is a story about an Indian political gangster who was brought up in Dharavi, Mumbai after running away from Tirunelveli in childhood. Kaala has two sons in the film and the story revolves around bringing a revolution in the slums of Dharavi. The set up is so good that we immediately become an inmate of the slum Dharavi. Though Rajnikanth has his X factor in the film, this time Pa Ranjith takes all the credit for beautiful direction of the film. And you be a Rajnikanth fan or not, Kaala does call for a watch atleast once.
