Sonakshi Sinha considers looks as secondary as against the skills she is blessed with.
Sonakshi Sinha had often been body shamed for being over weight. However in her recent interview with Big FM she mentioned that there are more things important in life than looks. She added that she is someone who has been on both the sides of the coin and knows how it feels being at each side. Sonakshi Sinha grew up as an overweight teenager. People always used to taunt her and pin point to her how much Kgs she needs to loose but it never mattered to her. In fact she used to cherish the other skills she has been blessed with which were much above the looks. She says that weight and looks are small things when compared to skills she is blessed with.
Focus on things you are good at and you will never feel pressurised.
Sonakshi Sinha gives a simple piece of advice to the people who also are facing the problem of be being overweight and being body shamed as she once used to be. She says that one should focus on the things one is good at and this will release all the pressure.
Sonakshi Sinha has shredded enough weight after being a an actress and aims to be a role model to project a healthy body.
Sonakshi confesses that she too as a teenage wished to look like the slim models.
Going ahead in her interview, Sonakshi Sinha gives the example of girls who get easily influenced at a very young age. She confesses that as a teenage even she used to wished to look like the slim models who appear on the cover page of the fashion magazine. But she clarifies that physical appearance is just an illusion and very unrealistic.
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha is currently shooting for “Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi”. Side by side she is also preparing for Kalank.
