Ayushmann Khurrana’s sincere efforts for AndhaDhun.
Ayushmann has worked really hard to train himself for his role in AndhaDhun. In his interview with a daily Ayushmann recalled how he had met a blind pianist named Rahul in Director Sriram Raghavan’s Office. Ayushmann is a keen observer and observed closely how Rahul identifies the Center of the piano before he began. He added that he prepared himself for 3 months and it included walking with the stick just like the blind people do, and doing the daily chores just like them right from climbing the stairs, preparing omelettes and similar jobs.
Ayushmann’s walking down the road blindfolded was next level efforts.
Ayushmann Khurrana even mentioned in his recent interview that he used to play the piano in pitch dark rooms and also walked down the road blindfolded. His friends used to feel that he’s pushing it too hard but as per him it was required to get his viewers invested in his character. Besides Ayushmann, AndhaDhun also starres Radhika Apte.
AndhaDhun is a story about Akash (Ayushmann Khurrana) a Pune based visually impaired pianist who dreams to fly to London to sharpen his musical skills. However he gets caught in a web and actually witnesses a crime. He offers to get off the mess but cannot specially because the daughter of the hotel manager falls in love with Ayushmann Khurrana.
