The actor started with the movie Love Sex aur Dhoka and since then never looked back. His kitty bagged a series of small roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, Chittagong and Talaash which all brought accolades for him. Things turned big with his role in Kai Po Che and he went on to winning National award for the role. His recent movie Newton is India’s official entry to Oscars. She sure is not a very beautiful lady but her talent is more than beautiful. Bhaskar started her career with a flop Madholal keep walking. Her debut movie did not do well but she took the phrase keep walking seriously. She then starred as supporting characters in Raanjhanaa, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Tanu weds Manu series. Her success in supporting roles brought her to main stream and she shined. “Nil Battey Sannata” and “Anarkali of Aarah” both brought her accolades. No doubt, She is here to stay.
The not-so- handsome actor has starred in many bollywood and bengali movies such as Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Maan Gaye Mughal-e-azam, Jhankar Beats etc. He got many international awards and received best Asian actor in 2000 Singapore film festival. His movie Mr. and Mrs. Iyer also received several international awards. Some inspiration for us right here.
Kay Kay Menon
He made to the big screen after a series of TV roles with the movie Naseem in 1995. His first big break as a lead role was in Bhopal Express which failed tremendously. But as we say rise again after every fall is how you succeed. The actor tasted success in 2005 after a series of failures (Deewar, Silsilay) with the release of “Hazaron Khwaishen Aisi” but his real break was RGVs Sarkar. The actor has played both positive and negative roles and received praises both ways.
Cheers for these great actors who rose to top on basis of their sheer talent only.
